We decided to go on a road trip this year to celebrate Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, and Justin’s birthday. So we drove right through that so-called nor’easter to Philadelphia. Dinner at Zahav was the perfect way to kick-off our family adventure. Their Israeli street food take on traditional holiday dishes was unbelievable. Our fav was the hummus with brisket & pita. The next day we woke up early to watch the Thanksgiving Day Parade, then headed over to see the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, and the Benjamin Franklin Museum. Before heading back home we stopped by Love Park & City Hall for some last minute photo ops before the Black Friday craziness began. Julien’s favorite part of the trip was the Please Touch Museum. $16 admission & I recommend going right when it opens for free street parking.
