As a returned Peace Corps volunteer in West Africa, Dina Paxenos has a genuine interest in helping people. Her desire to help flows naturally to real estate where she will ensure her clients’ goals are achieved whether they are buying or selling.
Dina specializes in working with clients in the international community. From State Department, USAID, Peace Corps, international NGOs, or foreign nationals, Dina has the skills and experience to best represent these clients with their buying and selling needs. She is also a go-to specialist in the NW DC neighborhood of Petworth, where she has lived since 2007.
Dina has been serving clients in DC, Maryland and Virginia since 2006. She gives back to the Realtor community by serving on the Community Service (CARES) Committee. For the past nine years she has coordinated the committee’s largest silent auction fund- raiser. The funds raised contribute to grants awarded to local non-profits with housing related missions in DC and Montgomery County.
Dina also serves on the Governing Board of the Women’s Council of Realtors (WCR) local chapter. WCR is a network of successful REALTORS®, advancing women as professionals and leaders in business, the industry and the communities they serve.
Dina is passionate about animal welfare and donates part of her commissions to organizations, such as the Washington Humane Rescue Alliance, Chesapeake Bay Foundation and Alley Cat Allies, a national feral cat resource where she serves on the Board of Directors (www.AlleyCat.org).
Originally from Baltimore, Dina has lived in the DC metro area since 2001. In 2007 she bought her cozy rowhome in Petworth where she happily resides with her two cats (Bristol & Dusty) and her poodle (Claude).
When I'm not selling real estate
When she’s not selling real estate, Dina enjoys going to the theater, checking out the latest art exhibit, and dining at the newest and hippest restaurant establishment downtown. She also helps out at the local animal shelter as much as she can.
